General Roulette Rules

Roulette is divided or separated into betting rounds. One betting round is equal to a single spin of Roulette Wheel! A new betting round starts with players making wagers and predicting the outcome of the following spin. There are more than a dozen different Roulette Bet Types you can make. These are divided into two larger groups – Inside Bets and Outside Bets.

Inside Bets

  • Single Number – a bet predicting that a single number will be spun.
  • Split – a bet on two numbers that predicts either of them to be spun.
  • Street – a bet on three numbers at a horizontal line that predicts either of them to be spun.
  • Square – a bet on four numbers shaped as a square (1, 2, 4, 5) that predicts either of them to be spun.
  • Six Line – a bet on two streets of six numbers in 2 horizontal lines that predicts either of them to be spun.
  • Basket – a bet on the first four numbers (0, 1, 2, 3) that predicts either of them to be spun.
  • Top Line – a bet on first four numbers for a Double Zero Roulette Wheel (0,00,1,2) that predicts either of them to be spun.

Outside Bets

  • 1 to 18 – a bet predicting any number between 1 and 18 to be spun.
  • 19 to 36 – a bet predicting any number between 19 and 36 to be spun.
  • Red or Black – a bet predicting that the next number spun will either be Black or Red.
  • Even or Odd – a bet predicting that the next number spun will either be Even or Odd.
  • Dozen Bets – a bet type that predicts one of the three number dozens to be spun. Can be made on one of the three dozens (1-12, 13-24, 25,36).
  • Column Bets – a bet predicting a number on one of three columns to be spun.

Now when you know all the possible bets, it’s time to make some! Worth adding that Inside Bets feature better Payout Odds, however, they are way harder to hit and you’ll win less often when betting on them. Outside Bets feature smaller Payout Odds, but will make you a winner way more often! To learn about Payouts, visit our Roulette Payout Odds page.

Now all you have to do is place a wager, predicting one or more outcomes to fulfil! Once you are done, hit the ”Spin” button in the Roulette Software and you are all set! If your bet won, you’ll automatically get paid, if it did not – better luck next time!
